How do we use trade union power to win improvements for all of us? Bargaining for the Common Good are a USA-based organisation that have been developing models for doing exactly this. Learn from their founder and veteran union organiser Stephen Lerner about their new strategy to build power with communities and win gains for workers inside and outside the workplace.

Speakers

Stephen Lerner is a labor and community organizer, architect of the Justice for Janitors Campaign and leading US critic of the financialization of the global economy.

Valery Alzaga (Mexico, U.S) is a trade union organiser and migrant rights activist. She was an organiser in the Justice for Janitors campaign and has worked for unions internationally.
