A creative writing workshop for all skill levels, where we’ll be writing our own manifestos, constitutions, and declarations of rage. We’ll be messing around with the language of the powerful - and turning it to our own uses. We’ll be thinking about the poetry nailed into church doors, printed on placards and graffitied on prison walls. We’ll be making party political broadcasts from utopia. Expect the surreal, the irreverent, the outrageous. Be realistic - demand the impossible!
This session is appropriate for people aged 16 or older. It will be taught in English, but people are welcome to write in any language.
