Policy Lab: Drug Reform and Rethink

Date
Sat 21.09.19
Timings
1pm – 2:30pm

This session will look at drug policy in the UK and reflect on how it can be improved to further social justice. The current changes in the laws around drugs both in the US and internationally show that drug law reform is a key global issue. But what kind of approach do we need to take in this country and how will it impact on society as a whole?

This is part of our 'Manifesto for the Movement' project. Over the course of the four days, hundreds of festival attendees in collaboration with policy experts will build a ‘Manifesto For The Movement’ - a radical document that will be presented to MPs at the end of the festival. Get involved in any TWT Policy Lab to be a part of this.
