Policy Lab: Our Values and Principles

Date
Sat 21.09.19
Timings
11am – 12:30pm

For the past forty years, policy making has been determined by a set of neoliberal principles: privatisation, deregulation, austerity. Now, we need new principles for a new age. To kick off this year’s ‘Manifesto for the movement’ we will be interrogating what values and principles should form the foundations of a socialist future. The principles we develop will form the basis of 10 policy labs we will run over the course of the festival, culminating in a collective manifesto.

Over the course of the four days, hundreds of festival attendees in collaboration with policy experts will build a ‘Manifesto For The Movement’ - a radical document that will be presented to MPs at the end of the festival. Get involved in any TWT Policy Lab to be a part of this.
