We need a mass movement to transform our society and trade unions have historically been the building blocks. Political education has long been a way for trade union members to develop ideas and think strategically about how to transform our workplaces and society as a whole. National Nurses United have shown just how powerful radical trade union political education can be, creating a mass movement of nurses fighting for socialism and medicare for all. What can we learn from the NNU and from union educators in the UK about how we can develop political education on a mass scale in our trade unions?
