What can a left-government accomplish in today’s conditions, how do we rebuild working-class power, and what kind of opposition can we expect to encounter? Capital strikes, disinvestment—socialist governments dealt with these in the 1970s and ’80s, and there are lessons to be learned from how they succeeded and failed.
