This session is a conversation on the interplay between science and politics, with a particular focus on the COVID-19 pandemic. What does "following the science" mean? What was the level of clarity on the science available to the government? What was the government’s attitude towards a science at odds with their political agenda? And what does this tell us about other forms of apparent science denialism (e.g. climate denialism)? Join this session to hear more.
