In and Against the State, originally published in 1979, brings together questions of working-class struggle and state power, exploring how revolutionary socialists might reconcile working in the public sector with their radical politics. Join the author of its new introduction, Seth Wheeler, in a discussion on the radical history of In and Against - situating this influential text in the context of the long '68

Particpants/Speakers:

Seth Wheeler is a writer, researcher, and activist. A co-founder of the workerist journal 'Notes from Below', and migrant solidarity project 'Channel Rescue'. He is contributing editor to 'Occupy Everything' (2012, Minor Compositions), and 'In and Against the State' (2021, Pluto Press).
