Has your mask begun to slip? Are you tired of being a superhero?

Join us for the first in a series of open conversations between neurodiverse queer artists that will inform research to influence policy and practice in the creative sector.

Chaired by Brendan Curtis (Queer Bodies, Eat Me) and Alice Holland (Powerhouse, Homotopia) the forum will feature 4 Northwest creatives sharing key works that inform their practices, survival strategies, things they’d like to change and career insights from a life of being… a little bit different.

As a group we will explore:

• How have you best advocated for yourself in creative working?
• What hacks do you have to share?
• Can you give us good examples of organisations/partners who are doing real ND inclusion?
• What is the dream working scenario for you as an artist? Access, freedom, understanding.
• Can we co-create a manifesto and network for a queer ND future?
• How does queerness interact with neurodivergence? How can we best support each other?
