Drawing on new archive and oral history collections, this exhibition traces the history and legacies of the Viraj Mendis anti-deportation and sanctuary campaign of the late 1980s. The exhibition is supported by Ascension Church Hulme, the Radical Reading Room Collective, the Arts & Humanities Council, and the University of Manchester.
The exhibition will be located in the main entrance area to Ascension Church Hulme.
