The past two years have shown us that we cannot appeal to the morality of the ruling class to stop the zionist genocide in Gaza. An arms embargo must be fought for by grassroots movements. On this panel, we will hear from different campaigns about the strategies and tactics they employ to win a people’s embargo.

Inès is an organiser with the Palestinian Youth Movement (PYM), a transnational, independent, grassroots movement of Palestinian and Arab youth in exile struggling for the liberation of their homeland. The PYM's Mask off Maersk campaign seeks to implement a people's arms embargo on Israel by pressuring the logistics giant Maersk to stop shipping military cargo that facilitates the genocide in Palestine.
