This documentary play follows a group of campaigners in Hulme fighting a tenacious battle against predatory developers and the council. Based on official documents and interviews, it combines heartfelt performances and original music to show a community taking on a rigged system.

is a producer of urgent theatre and engagement projects working across Newcastle, Leeds and Manchester. Previously working for Curious Monkey, Cardboard Citizens, Lawnmowers Independent Theatre Company, Queens Hall Hexham, Seven Stories.
has previously created socially engaged work with the Royal Exchange, the Lowry and Leeds Playhouse. While Youth Theatre Director at the Octagon Bolton, he commissioned new scripts, developed partnerships with LAMDA and RADA, and launched the actor training programme Young Octagon.
Gareth a is writer and researcher, whose work covers the policy and politics of the English planning system. He is currently working on a Leverhulme funded project on the privatisation of the UK energy system and the present energy crisis.
