The Palestinian Sound Archive is determined to preserve Palestinian audio history through different mediums. Over the last five years of work, it has become clear that not only do the sounds need safeguarding, but the extraordinary histories and experiences of the musicians who made them. In this session, join founder Mo’min Swaitat, for a short film screening, discussion and collective listening, and explore archival practice as a decolonial methodology and act of resistance that preserves and documents Palestinian culture.
is a London-based Palestinian Bedouin actor, filmmaker, music producer, DJ and archivist. He trained at the Freedom Theatre in Jenin.
