A 50minute talk and Q&A with the Gaskell Garden Project (GGP) on their open permaculture park right in the heart of Hulme. GGP will explain how they use food and gardening as a way to generate free resources for tenants by reclaiming unused spaces to fight back gentrification.
With the symbolic Mancunian Parakeets flying above your head, you can enjoy a free mug of mulled wine at this talk before heading over to the Aquarius centre where GGP will be contributing their homegrown produce to the evening meal.
