Throughout the history of resistance we have always sung and created songs about our struggle. Most revolutionary moments are punctuated with songs some of us still sing today. We’re in our own moment of history now though; we have to create the protest songs and chants of this moment to be passed down. There's only so many times we can sing Solidarity Forever!
This workshop is for all seasoned protest MCs and singers, and those who’ve never before touched the mic: this will be a welcoming, creative space to relax and think about new ways of expressing our struggles with our voices.
