Do you want to build a radio? Agnes & Kat have spent the summer doing just that. This lecture is a demonstration of their findings on the revolutionary and artistic potential of The Radio. The performance pulls from Kogawa’s writing and designs for an FM Transmitter, Moten and Harney’s Undercommons, Fanon on the Voice of Fighting Algeria and Radio Alice’s philosophy of free radio.
Agnes is an artist and engineer who works with the materiality and politics of electronic hardware.
Kat is a sound artist and researcher interested in distance, space and noise.
