The climate crisis is coming for all of us, and change is now inevitable. There is a question that has been on the lips of socialists for centuries: “What is to be done”? Tory rule looks set to end after 14 years, but the change on offer doesn’t come close to what’s needed.

How do we win the change we need, in the workplace and in our communities? Do we all need to be willing to get arrested? How importantant is deep organising? Is there a role for political parties and elections in our strategy going forward? Do we have the time to make it count?

In this assembly we’ll be asking the burning questions of our movement and our species. We will be joined by renowned voices arguing against capitalism and the destruction it is causing to people and planet.
