An interactive discussion between four Black women, through the narratives of their own lived experience as Black women socialists in politics, including party politics, trade union and community organising.

The aim of the session is to change the consciousness of the Left and turn performative allyship into something tangible and effective. Starting by an insight into our lives, including how we have been failed due to ingrained racism from people who claim to be our allies, we hope to open up comrades hearts and minds into why their actions are so underwhelming at best, devastating at worst and how the movement as a whole suffers from the way our contributions are blocked.
