The World Transformed is an independent organisation. We only accept grants from organisations whose goals and values are aligned with our own, and none of our funders have any role in our governance structure. That means we are able to remain politically autonomous.

Each year, we aim to sign up more people to our (opens in a new tab)Supporters Network so we can become less reliant on grants, and more financially sustainable in the long run.

The Festival

Our annual festival is roughly 50% funded by our ticket sales, with the other 50% being made thanks to the generosity of partner organisations, who contribute to the programming and delivery of the event.

TWT is a non-profit organisation with no shareholders. If any surplus is made from our annual festival, it is reinvested into paying for our core costs the following year.
